Recordings

The recorded voicemails/recordings on this page will try to be an archive of the most complete message, telemarketers usually begin their sales pitch upon connecting so the messages are often missing the first 5-10 seconds.  Keep in mind audio quality isn’t that good thanks to Cingular/at&t’s usage of AMR Half-Rate compression, audio recordings were via Sony Ericsson Z750.

877-728-9891: Warranty Help Desk, as many times you may press the key to be removed, they still call and begin using multiple numbers. This is the best recording: Warranty Help Desk

206-309-0144: A scam telemarketer calling at late hours of the day(past 9pm), the name used in the voicemail is “111cash”. The recording: 206-309-0144

416-139-8587: DirectTV reseller telemarketer, as far as call patterns seems to be very common on at&t recently(began on the first week of Jan until the first week of Feb).  Good thing for rollover minutes yet this type of calls won’t end via their don’t call option, it leads towards 10x more calls. The recording: 416-139-8587

416-523-1121 (2/18/09): A scam healthcare telemarketer with a recorded sales pitch, the remove from their list doesn’t work. The number is from Toronto, ON and the provider is Bell Mobility. The voicemail recording is here: 416-523-1121

800-552-2324 / 800-3218412 (2/18/09): A scam telemarketer offering consolidated credit card debt interest rate, same voicemail on cellphones and also on GrandCentral voicemail so it is fair to say they’re auto-dialing numbers.  The voicemail recording is here: 800-552-2324

603-214-3340 / 603-214-3564 (April-May 11th):  Auto Warranty call.  The voicemail recording is here: 603-214-3304

410-629-7047: One Auto Warranty pre-recorded message and the insane 6 minute and 30 second ringing until one of their call drones answered. I was eating dinner when the call happened so when the ringing and ringing kept going on I put the phone down. Listen: 1st recording & 2nd recording(12 MB)

202-495-7170‬: Partial “Lower your credit card interest rate”. The recording is here: ‎202-495-7170
