Telemarketer Roadkill

202-367-9197 (multiple calls all week): A telemarketer by the name of “Card Services” offering a lower interest rate on credit cards, first call was 3 seconds of dead air on voicemail, 2nd call was dead air, 3rd call a pre-recorded sales pitch played and later calls were 3 seconds of dead air on voicemail.  The number is a landline from Washington, DC and the provider is Verizon.

856-637-3692 (2/17/09): A scam telemarketer by the name of “Dealers Warranty”. After receiving so many calls from this number repeatedly(2x per day), decided to try acting interested again and was told who they were.The number is a landline from Blackwood, NJ and the provider is Paetec Communications.

416-523-1121 (2/18/09): A scam healthcare telemarketer with a recorded sales pitch, the remove from their list doesn’t work. The number is from Toronto, ON and the provider is Bell Mobility. The voicemail recording is here: 416-523-1121

908-912-1601 (2/18/09): Another Auto Warranty scam going by the name of “Warranty Services”. Was busy with another call when this number called, the voicemail was partial. The number is a landline from Plainfield, NJ and the provider is Paetec Communications.

800-552-2324 / 800-3218412 (2/18/09): A scam telemarketer offering consolidated credit card debt interest rate, same voicemail on cellphones and also on GrandCentral voicemail so it is fair to say they’re auto-dialing numbers.  The voicemail recording is here: 800-552-2324

609-283-0152 (2/21/09): Yet another Auto Warranty scam, left no voicemail on cellphone but did leave a partial sales pitch on GrandCentral. The number is a landline from Pemberton, NJ and the provider is Tcg Delaware Valley.

954-691-9352 (2/21/09): Another partial Auto Warranty scam voicemail. The number is a landline from Pompano Beach, FL and the provider is US Lec Communications.

270-686-0076: Yet another number of “Warranty Help Desk”. They called multiple times, their sales people matched the script a tipster posted about earlier. The number is a landline from Owensboro, KY and the provider is South Central Bell.

234-567-8900: A shady/scam telemarketer going by the name of “Cardholder Services”, a recorded sales pitch of “last chance to lower your credit card interest rate”. They won’t say what credit card company they’re representing and they hang up. The recorded sales pitch brings memories of the scam of Heather of accounting services.

804-559-9330: A scam auto warranty telemarketer, left a partial voicemail message of their sales pitch. The number is a landline from Mechanicsville, VA and the provider is Verizon.  Based on the common trend of these scam calls, either they’re spoofed or they grab numbers which still have old info.

909-502-9109: 8/25/08(2:30pm): A telemarketer by the name of “National Dealer Services”.  The number is a landline from Corona, CA and the provider is Digitcom Services.

310-655-5162: 8/26/08(4:43pm) A telemarketer by the name of “Car Warranty Services”.  The number is a landline from West Los Angeles, CA and the provider is Network Services Llc.

866-796-1391 (2/2/09 & 2/3/09): A possible scam telemarketer calling themselves “BP Services”, demanded credit card info to qualify for ‘prizes’ and asking who exactly are they for further info results in them hanging up. They also call from “616-412-8219″.  If you get called by this number, don’t answer.

856-637-3692 (2/3/09): A scam telemarketer by the name of “Auto Warranty” with the typical this is your last notice of an expiring auto warranty recording. Tried to act interested in their sales pitch, still no luck in prodding their exact name as the call drone hangs up. The number is a landline from Blackwood, NJ and the provider is Paetec Communications. (Repeat caller)
