Auto warranty calls seemed to have slowed, now another type of calls have begun… ah yes an infinite loop of telemarketing calls. A voicemail recording database will be added, still sorting through a collection of complete and partial recordings.
888-870-1276 (1/23/09): A telemarketer by the name of “Silverleaf Resorts” pitching time-shares with another number. They won’t stop calling a family member’s cellphone number after being asked to stop, time to send a C&D letter with return receipt eh?
571-261-0045 (1/23/09): A telemarketer by the name of “Financial Freedom” pitching debt consolidation. The number is a landline from Haymarket, VA and the provider is Verizon.
303-586-6398 (1/23/09): Some sort of scam pre-recorded Spanish sales pitch, the message was partial on my Grand Central voicemail box.
416-139-8587 (1/26/09): A scam telemarketer by the name of “Free Digital Equipment” pitching DishTV, has been calling multiple times since the 22nd and the number is a spoofed & invalid number. A recording of the voicemail will be added to a pending audio database. Pressing any keys doesn’t stop the calls.
202-367-9197 (1/26/09): A scam/shady telemarketer asking for credit card info before they’re able to disclose so-called lower interest rates. The number is a landline from Westchester, DC and the provider is unknown.
800-219-7425 (1/27/09- 9:30am): Scam telemarketer by the name of “Auto Warranty/Vehicle Services” with a recording of “This is your second notification of your car warranty will expire”. They won’t remove you from the lists, from personal experience they hang up once you say “please remove… *click*”.
