This is the results of two weeks of tracking, many of them were repeat calls which finally left some type of voicemail. With that said, seems like smaller telcos are being used by these shady telemarketers who repeatedly call cell phones. At the moment based on the tracking, everyone I know who uses at&t mobility are getting hammered the most by these telemarketing calls and changing your phone number isn’t going to help… my new number is up to 10 per week.
231-732-2575: A telemarketer by the name of “Dish Solutions”, recorded message was “…This is Dish Network. You’ve been signed up to receive Dish TV. Just press one to be connected”. The number is a landline from Morley, MI and the provider is Lucre
310-599-9105: A telemarketer pitching a typical auto warranty sales call, partial message was “Your car warranty is about to expire — Press 1 to talk to a warranty expert!”. The number is a landline from Compton, CA and the provider is Digitcom Services.
949-256-9104: A telemarketer pitching a typical auto warranty sales call, partial message was “Your car warranty is about to expire — Press 1 to talk to a warranty expert!”. The number is a landline from Saddleback Valley, CA and the provider is Digitcom Services.
253-473-3386: A telemarketer pitching a typical auto warranty sales call, partial message was “Your Factory Car Warranty has expired…”. The number is a landline from Tacoma, WA and the provider is Qwest Corp.
207-925-1732: A telemarketer by the name of “Warranty Services”, partial message was “This is a second warning of your car warranty has expired…”. The number is a landline from Lovell, ME and the provider is Northland Telephone of ME Inc.
251-957-6108: A telemarketer scam spoofing this number by the name of “Help Desk Warranty”. Leaves a partial voicemail, upon calling back the number, it says disconnected. (12/19- 10:36am)
212-586-8321: Unknown. Left a 1 second of dead silence on voicemail. The number is a landline from New York City, NY and the provider is Verizon.
212-831-2863: A telemarketer pitching a typical auto warranty sales call, partial message was “Your Factory Car Warranty has expired…”. The number is a landline from New York City, NY and the provider is Verizon.
416-139-8587: A telemarketer spoofing their number & selling digital TV equipment without saying who they are, a scam-like recording left on voicemail. The number is spoofed, unknown telco/location.
817-444-5194: A telemarketer by the name of “The Warranty Center”, partial message was left. The number is a landline from Azel, TX and the provider is Verizon. Received a call early in the day(22nd), a family member got a call later in the day.
517-931-2199: Unknown telemarketer, voicemail is 5 seconds of dead air. The number is a landline from Tekonsha, MI and the provider is Lucre.
757-209-2032: Unknown telemarketer, voicemail is 5 seconds of dead air. Could be a spoofed number. (12/23)
